The Problem
Approvals by email lose the design along the way
When a design leaves the system as a screenshot, everything that makes it producible is left behind.
The challengePrintzoe’s approach
Challenge: Screenshots do not preserve design data.
Printzoe’s approach: Reviewers open the proof itself through a secure link.
Challenge: Email attachments create version confusion.
Printzoe’s approach: Every revision is its own version, so there is only one current proof.
Challenge: Feedback lacks visual context.
Printzoe’s approach: Feedback is recorded on the review, next to the proof it refers to.
Challenge: Approval may not identify the correct design version.
Printzoe’s approach: Approval is recorded against the specific proof the customer saw.
Challenge: Production can receive an outdated file.
Printzoe’s approach: The approved version is the one passed downstream.
Challenge: Review history is difficult to audit.
Printzoe’s approach: Status changes are recorded on the review as they happen.

Auditable approvals
Who approved which version, and when, is on record.
The workflow in development supports guest reviewers, so customers can review from a secure link without creating an account.
Yes. Review links in the workflow in development carry an expiry date and can be revoked.
Shared links are intended for review rather than editing. Editable sharing is not part of the current scope.
Approval is recorded against the specific proof the customer reviewed, not the design in general.
How approvals can be reopened is agreed during implementation. In the intended workflow, any change after approval becomes a new revision that needs its own approval.
Yes. Customer feedback and internal notes stay with the review record.
In the intended workflow the approved version is locked for downstream review. Changes create a new version that goes back through review.
